This isn’t the earliest it’s snowed here in Coastal Maine. We’ve had some white stuff in October too. It’s been less than six months since our last snow.
I love all of the seasons and the first snow of the season feels magical.
We got about three inches and not a snow shovel to be found. That’s on this weekend’s To Do List.
The leaves look a bit like ornaments.
This fellow looks none too happy with the turn of events.
The oak leaves are still hanging on.
And here’s the joy of the day.
I love watching the deer when they visit. Gidget not so much. At this point she growls when I pick up my camera. It’s her signal that there’s something out there she needs to chase off.
Especially the young ones.
This mama spent quite a bit of time grooming both of the teens.
By the weekend this will all be a memory – the weather man predicts 61 degrees on Saturday.
The deer pictures are so beautiful! Made me want to make another of your felt fawns and find someone to send it to.
