It’s Paul who encouraged me to begin creating and selling kits for my patterns, and he helps with fulfillment when I’m away to keep things moving. However, without Hannah, this project would still be sitting on my computer. This summer was one of my busiest summers ever work-wise. I fiddled with revamping patterns in my spare time until I had a dozen to launch with. Yet, it’s Hannah who actually got this project off the ground.
This summer, in between her jobs, she tested and proofed patterns. She measured patterns to determine the amount of felt needed. She questioned when my instructions made sense only to me; she said they need to be “Hannah-proof.” She cut felt and floss and packaged kits. She cut backup felt for each pattern so there was a supply to create more kits when I ran low on packaged ones. She was a cheerleader and a constructive critic all in one.
Now that she’s off to college, I email my patterns and she continues to proof and to question and to help make them better. Her “pay” is the occasional care package of kits to make when she justs wants to “chill.”
I hope you know how much I appreciate you, Hannah Susan!
And with her help, this week I’m adding to the SHOP a redesigned Polar Bear Kit with a dashing winter scarf and a Reindeer Kit.
I CANNOT RESIST YOUR CHARMING PATTERNS. My husband claims that I am a compulsive shopper. I am PROUD of purchases which I have made here! Thank you!
Noreen
That is the best possible compliment. Thank you, Noreen!
