Just yesterday I talked about family treasures. Today I have been gifted with new treasures.

A couple of years ago Paul and I took a class on carving and printmaking. He put those skills to use in his gift for me this Christmas. He created this wonderful woodblock owl print for me.

I can’t imagine the hours he spent on carving this piece. He gifted me with the woodblock too. He captured the process on video here.

Hannah’s first gift for me brought me to tears.

A hard-back photo book chronicling our adventures together; priceless.

I’m humbled and feel so loved by the the thought and care Paul and Hannah put into my gifts. Today was a most memorable and happy Christmas.
