This Felt Petal Christmas Tree idea has been sitting in my “someday” file for years. I found some craft cones from my mom’s stash of supplies, so I began experimenting with various petal sizes and gluing methods before I settled on this final version.
This is created on a 7″ x 2.75″ chipboard craft doll cone with hot glue as an adhesive. I imagine you could use a floral styrofoam cone as well, although I’m not sure what type of glue would be appropriate with that method.
This design uses six felt colors, but you could use any number or combination of colors.
