Yesterday, I enjoyed one of the first sunny days in weeks on the porch. Using the Merlin app, I recorded a great variety of birds in my little patch of woods, including a Crow, Overnbird, Hairy Woodpecker, American Robin, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Eastern Phoebe, Hermit Thrush, Goldfinch, Song Sparrow, Black-capped Chickadee, Blue Headed vireo, Magnolia Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, and Northern Parula. The Northern Parula is one of the few birds I hadn’t yet created out of felt, so I spent my evening working on this wood warbler. Enjoy!

Timely, Susan, as we enjoyed watching a N. Parula bathing in the birdbath today here in the Missouri Ozarks. Thank you!
Thank you! He looks like a pudgy little bird :o)
