Some time ago, Paul asked me to convert my Downeast Thunder Farm logo owls into an image file he could use with his X-Carve machine. His first test run with that simplified design was on the garden trug he made for me a couple of weeks ago. Last week he started working on a sign for the post at the end of the driveway, the same post that features my metal owl.
He used scrap wood, leftover stain, and polyurethane from other projects for the sign. He did a lovely job. I think it came out quite nice! I’m away in Pennsylvania, but Paul finished it up and mounted the sign on our driveway post, and sent this picture. My metal owl is still there behind the tree branches. I’ve got some pruning to do!
