Hannah lured me away from the lethargic rut I found myself in this weekend.
We hoped in the car, destination unknown, and ended up at the beach in Addison.
While the outing wasn’t the hike I knew my body needed, the stroll in the brisk air felt good.
The tide was out far enough to leave a swath of untouched beach.
I was content to take pictures rather than scouring for beach treasures.
Although Hannah spotted sea glass within moments, I’m not sure how she does it.
The beach erosion was conspicuous, these trees holding tight for now.
I wonder what critter lives tucked in that tunnel amid the roots.
It wasn’t quite toes in the sand weather, but it won’t be long!
Love hearing about your walks on the beach and am envious of the sea glass and the sound of the waves. Sea glass is one of my favorite things though I don’t live anywhere near a beach!
Hi Sue & Hannah, I see your email alert & can’t wait to read it & see the pictures. I can smell the salt air & hear the sea gulls squawking. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful state.
I miss New England. I grew up at the beach. However I like NC for the weather. Love ur posts.
