The next installment in the butterfly theme is the American Copper. Once again, the limitations of felt colors challenged me. But an endless supply of felt colors could be a problem for me! Rather than tiny pieces of felt for the spots, I used beads, but you can also use French knots and satin stitches. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for sharing these butterflies. I’ve been making the birds for my oldest daughter. I made the monarch for my younger daughter (both daughters are adults). I think I will make the other butterflies for my younger daughter too, because right now the oldest has several birds! :o) Gotta keep them both happy!
