Hannah’s first day home from Denmark yesterday felt oddly anti-climactic. After such a flurry of angst and anxiety to get her out of Europe, we suddenly found our selves at loose ends. Not knowing what to expect in the coming days, we decided to take our afternoon tea and Covid-19 social-distancing to Pigeon Hill. Finding isolation is easier in Maine than in a lot of places.
This was our first trip up Pigeon Hill in over a year. Hannah was plagued with back issues in 2019 that prohibited any but the mildest of walks. After a summer of physical therapy, a healthy fall semester, and a very active couple of months in Denmark, she’s strong and back to enjoying life.
I’m so grateful to have her home!

So glad Hannah is home safe. I was hoping she wasn’t caught in all the crowds at airports they showed on the news. 🙂
She made it in the day before that bedlam began!
So happy to see that Hannah is home–
have lots of fun you two and be sure to share it with us–
we will be watching!!!
