After living in a 27’ camper with one man, a 5-year-old child, and a dog for more than a year while building the Maine House, I thought I’d never want to stay in a camper again. Yet, lately, I’ve begun to dream about a little retro camper that Paul and I could use for weekend getaways – something we can gut and reno to be just what we (I) want. Those daydreams and research are what have inspired my latest ornament – the Retro Christmas Camper. It’s darn cute and required some fun new felt colors. New felt always feels a bit like Christmas to me!
You can purchase the complete kit here (not shipping out until November 25th). Or you can download the free pattern below. Have fun!

Thank you. This is so cute.
This is, dare I say it, adorable! I’ve been looking for a retro small camper as you have; they’re available here and there but are sadly rather expensive. I wish you all the best of luck in finding one in your area that is in good enough shape to be restored or renovated
Really cute design–and I was thinking that you must have a large selection of felt colors with all the designs that you make!!
luv, di
This design has fond memories for me, because I had a Shasta Serro Scotty 13′, that I lived in for a year and a half.
