I spent the day browsing photos from one of my last adventures with Hannah before she returned to college last month.
We made the two-hour drive to St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada to visit Kingsbrae Garden.
The day was overcast and drizzly to start, but that didn’t dim our enthusiasm.
It was a delightful outing and shutterbug’s extravaganza.
The White Garden was spectacular. I don’t want to count how many pictures we took of the Monarchs in the Coneflower.
I’m not sure what this lovely plant is, but it was one of my favorite flowers of the day.
The August colors were brilliant.
The trails required that you wander from all directions.
We had fun photographing the pollinators.
My favorite discovery of the day was this butterfly house for raising Monarchs. I want one and told Paul that I had a new project for him. His response was, “Of course you do.”
Kingsbrae was quirky.
Kingsbrae was whimsical.
Kingsbrae was tasty.
Kingsbrae was magical.
One of the best things about photographing our adventures is the ability to relive them whenever I choose.
Missing you, Sweetie!
Thank you for sharing! What a lovely place to visit!
Gooseneck loosestrife is the white flower, nice but they do spread.
Thank you!
