Hannah and I started our week running errands. Since we were in the neighborhood, we took a spin through Schoodic Point.
The weather was glorious.
A bank of fog hung low on the bay.
As always, the requisite mother/daughter selfie.
The fog moved in and out, flirting with the coastline.
The surf crashed along the rocky shore as a pair of Eider ducks rode the waves.
Tonight we zipped back to Schoodic to photograph the the sunset.
We found a wonderful spot.
Even if we were bombarded with black flies.
A lovely way to end the week.
My son is finally home from college also. I’m afraid he’s more of a big city lover than a nature lover though. You live in such a beautiful state. I enjoy your photos very much. Hope to visit Maine someday.
