Last weekend was the grand opening of Milbridge Commons – a wellness park and garden I’ve been working on with a group of others for more than three years.
In anticipation of this event, I asked Paul to make a cornhole game. Before building the boards, he carved the Incredible Edible Milbridge logo with is X-Carve CNC machine.
Once carved, I took over with the painting. Paul shellacked the boards and then I painted the carved grooves with black. A light sanding removed any overflow black painting leaving the outlines looking crisp and clean. I then spent a few hours painting them to match the logo. Once assembled, Paul treated them with some polyurethane and then they were ready to go.
I couldn’t be more pleased with our efforts! If you’re interested in making your own cornhole game, Paul posted the plans here.
