It’s finally spring! And as I’m waiting for the two feet of snow in my garden to melt away, my thoughts are turning to preparation for Milkweed and Monarchs. This butterfly is a bit oversized, measuring 5.5″ from wing-tip to wing-tip. A piece of wire tacked on the inside the ornament allows you to shape the wings. I hope you have fun with this butterfly pattern – hopefully a harbinger of warmer days!

Love the butterfly, that would be fun to make and put on my all year tree. Have been following along on your adventures by mail, someday I will have to get higher up.

Oh my, I love her!! Thank You So Much for sharing your patterns!
You have outdone yourself! I have stitched many of your bird patterns and LOVE them all. I, too, grow milkweed every year and have “raised” many monarchs. It is a very rewarding hobby. This will be such a fun stitch…..THANK YOU!
Thank you!
