It’s official. We’re in winter mode. This was the sight greeting us this morning. We spent yesterday procrastinating, only moving into winter prep when the first flakes began to fall. Yard clear of stuff; check. Snow shovels distributed to all doors; check. Bird feeders filled; check. Quick grocery run; check.
The ducks didn’t mind the snow and ignored the slushy pond altogether.
However, they were not impressed with Paul’s use of the tractor during cleanup and started heading down the drive.
I played with the camera a bit.
While Gidget didn’t mind a little bit of the white stuff yesterday when the snow started, she flat out refused to leave the porch today until I shoveled out a patch for her. High maintenance puppy.
Paul grumbled about the white stuff as he pulled on boots and headed outdoors to clean up the drive. I know snow means extra work, but I always get a little excited when it’s going to snow. Ask me again in February and I might sing a different tune!
Hello Susan,
Thank you for these snow photos, makes me feel a little cooler here in Qld.
Having admired your macro photos I acquired a magnifying gadget for my phone’s camera lens.
Such fun – working on the shaky hand!!!
Thank you!
Stay warm
Very good. Hope you’re having fun with the camera.
