This meadowlark was a recent request. I confess, I’ve never seen one before – probably because I don’t have a meadow tucked up here in the woods the way were are. But, he’s a pretty little songbird worth the effort.

Fabulous! Thank you!
Really nice! I have seen meadow larks though not for a number of years. Excellent!
So pretty! Seeing this reminded me of the Bobolinks we get here in the spring. They sound like wind chimes out in our meadows. Would you consider a Bobolink pattern? Thanks!
Your patterns are beautiful and your heart must be the same to share them so generously. I recently taught my (unusually intelligent) two year-old grandson all the state birds of America’s using flashcards. He calls our local birds by their names now and it thrills me. His age means ‘meadowlark’ sounds like ‘meddowock’, but that only makes it sweeter to hear! I plan to make him a felt bird ornament for Christmas each year, in hopes he will long remember our special time. Thank you so much for making that an easy project for me. Bless you!
Naomi, what a lovely comment. Thank you. I hope you and your grandson enjoy them. Your birds are sure to be treasured by him.
