I spent much of my Saturday indoors cleaning and advising Paul as he installed a new counter and sink in my laundry room. A scurrying sound across my window screens distracted me from my chores and I headed outside where I found this little squirrel.
He was doing his darnedest to find a way inside the house.
He too must sense the changing season.
And figured that it was time to find new winter digs.
He scampered all around, looking for a weakness in our fortress.
He didn’t seem to mind that I followed him with my camera.
He gave the grill a peek, ultimately heading back to inspect the house.
And back to where I first discovered him, scurrying across my screens.
That is so funny, he is a little guy, we get the big gray squirrels and an occasional red one.

Such a cutie. We don’t find those red ones here in Central Va., but when I lived in Maine we had them all the time. Now if I hear a scratchy sound on the screen it is usually a lizard!
