In addition to my regulars – the Mourning Doves and Chickadees, some new visitors have been distracting me from work. I find myself wandering from the office to the kitchen to see who’s visiting the garden bird feeder.
This female Common Redpoll spent an afternoon visiting. She’s such a pretty little thing.
It was only when I studied this picture that I realized I had a Crossbill and not a Goldfinch at the feeder.
Yes, I’m a bit near-sighted.
