It’s the first day of winter – the shortest day of the year and I weeded my garden today. Temps in the 40’s makes me feel a bit silly for moving the portable banty coop onto the deck to keep these miniature chickens out of the snow. Is it a redneck moment to have chickens on your porch?
The weather man says the verdict is still out on a white Christmas. For today I’ll enjoy a bit more puttering in the yard.
Hello, My name is Pam Gibbs, and live in the Wisconsin River Valley, not far from Madison. I love your patterns and plan on making a few during the winter months. My husband, Bill and I own a small acreage where we grow organic asparagus, and plan on expanding our business.I grow herbs as well.
Found your website when looking for coop plans. We will be starting a small flock next Spring. Thank you very much for the free patterns, they are lovely. Pam
