I’ve wanted to find another way to use my felt birds for the holiday. I created this Christmas stocking just big enough to feature an owl and to tuck a few goodies inside. The possibilities are endless. Use a wool or wool-blend felt for a sturdy stocking in your choice of colors. Add your favorite bird (sized appropriately) and embellish the stocking as you like. Enlarge the pattern if you’d like a full-size stocking – this one prints out on 8.5″x11″ letter-sized paper.

Happy stitching!
That is lovely. I have used your patterns to create yearly Xmas decorations for my grandchildren (never start a tradition you don’t want to continue forever! haha! ) I have lots of fun making them, and enjoy the time and details that go into them. This is a wonderful idea –
